Chelsea agree mega fee with Leicester City to sign Danny Drinkwater

Englishman Danny Drinkwater is now expected to be on his way to Chelsea

- The 27-year-old has also agreed to play for the reigning League champions

Chelsea Football Club of England who are the reigning Premier League champions have reportedly agreed a mega million deal to sign Danny Drinkwater from rivals Leicester City.

The Blues' manager Antonio Conte has been clamoring for more arrivals at Stamford Bridge since their embarrassing home defeat in their first game of the season against Burnley.

Chelsea board have now made a big move in their quest to satisfy the Italian tactician as they have agreed a £28million fee with the former Premier League champions.

Drinkwater is now expected to compete with Cesc Fabregas, N’Golo Kante and Tiemoue Bakayoko in the middle of the park should he link up with the Community Shield runners-up.
